Overall Purpose of Job:
To effectively and efficiently assess, market and secure college placements for all clients who are under the Clearing Department responsibility, whilst maintaining and enhancing FirstPoint USA’s reputation within the marketplace. The role must ensure that the needs of Firstpoint USA’S clients and external stakeholders are exceeded.
Successful applicants must have strong computing and communication skills (e.g. telephone skills). Bachelor’s degree required. Experience as a collegiate athlete at a NCAA or NAIA member institution is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Regular quality professional communication with active clients and colleagues.
To help maintain and grow a strong, sustainable network of contacts within the collegiate athletics system.
Managing the compliance & eligibility process for our clients.
To maintain each and every client file fully up-to-date with all documentation being captured on our database
Pre-qualify academic and compliance status for clients.
Simplify complex information in an understandable manner to clients from all around the world.
To stay abreast of NCAA/ NAIA/NJCAA legislation changes across all divisions and implement effectively.
7. Liaise effectively with other departments within FirstPoint regarding updates and client advancement through the FirstPoint USA program.

To improve customer service
Managing customer complaints, following company procedures whilst providing a level of service to the client.
Managing/organizing expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
* Strive to reach and exceed set targets whilst maintaining quality.
Skills, Experience, Requirements (minimum) :
MS Office 2007- Outlook, Word, Excel; computer literate
Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to prioritize work, initiate actions tasks and communications as required.
Multi-tasking and handling interruptions with efficiency.
Able to work extended hours if needed.
American college/university experience preferred.
Key Accountabilities:
Ensure all clients under remit receive regular and effective levels of communication.
Ensure marketing and promotions are carried out in an effective and consistent manner.
Adhere to and understand budget constraints, looking for areas of improvement or cost effective actions.
Focus on quality and strive for continual improvement over all aspects of the business.
Adhere to FirstPoint USA company policy across all departments set in line with Senior Managements business criteria.
Possess and develop a sound understanding of the American collegiate environment across a multi sport market with a strong knowledge of its legislation and standards.
