FirstPoint USA has been a great help, they have provided the different colleges and options to us and helped us get to the stage we are now.
FirstPoint USA have made me realise what I can achieve, gave me an insight into what I can expect and guide me down the path of promoting myself, all advice provided has been concise and accurate.
FirstPoint USA helped me with getting my profile out there to so many teams so I am known to a range of colleges all over America making the recruitment process a lot easier. They then know who I am, best times, what I want to achieve. They have been great at getting my name out there and known and familiar with the tough recruitment process. They contacted teams personally on my behalf and offered great advice as the whole process can be very confusing.
Without FirstPoint USA I would never be going to University in America. They made all the contacts for me, and created the opportunities to get me noticed by the universities who could offer me places. If it wasn't for them I would not be heading off to university next week.
I feel FirstPoint USA helped me when I was going through the process and gave me a lot of good advice. I feel the staff put a lot of time and effort in securing the right place for me to be at in America.
FirstPoint USA has helped me find a college which offers a high standard of soccer and academics which I appreciate.
FirstPoint USA have helped me a lot as without finding out about the scheme then I never would have known about it. The guys made me believe I was good enough to go across and play and I hope to be a part of the many successful players to come from FirstPoint USA.
FirstPoint USA has helped me turn the possibility of going to the states to play soccer and going to college into a reality. Initially FirstPoint USA made me aware of the college soccer system and once I decided to go through with it and express my talent they helped me get in contact with a number of colleges and received scholarship offers. FirstPoint USA helped me choose the right college for me giving me advice and direction as I went along.
FirstPoint USA is excellent! They put me in touch with several colleges and I received lots of offers. They also helped me make a tough decision on where to go.
FirstPoint USA set me up with a good deal at such a short amount of time. They provided me with the confidence in my game to give me the belief of being able to get out there and succeed.
For me, FirstPoint USA did all the hard work for me; I can't thank Andrew enough! Hopefully I can prove to them that I was worth the investment and others can see how they do their job to their full potential.
FirstPoint USA have helped me locate a team and helped me improve as a footballer, giving me a stepping stone to becoming a professional.
FirstPoint USA helped me achieve exposure and secured a scholarship within a short time frame.
FirstPoint USA gave me options because they gave my details to a number of US coaches who showed interest in me. Also, there seems to be lots of pitfalls in the process of gaining the scholarship and then actually getting to the states, this when going through FirstPoint USA helps because they have sent hundreds of boys over and have had all sorts of problems to deal with. So they are able to guide you because of their past experiences.
FirstPoint USA initiated contact with a number of coaches throughout the United States on my behalf. They gave details of my ability and set up games where coaches could assess me for themselves. As a result I had many options and different locations I could have chosen to study at.
FirstPoint USA have been very easy to deal with and done their best to get me a good scholarship at a college.
I find Andrew and his staff at FirstPoint USA to be professional and helpful. I have been in contact with several of his recruits and find them to be genuine and most respectful. I always look forward to working with FrstPoint USA and their staff.
I have found FirstPoint USA a source of access to very good prospects from the UK and beyond. Last year was our first venture into the overseas market and the player we brought in through FirstPoint USA became our leading goal-scorer and helped us to our best season ever since the formation of the soccer programme. The staff at FirstPoint USA have always been prompt in responding to my questions and has often been ahead of the game in contacting me with an enquiry as to my upcoming needs. It opens a door that would otherwise take a lot of time and hard work to break through. I heartily recommend FirstPoint USA to any USA college coach and player, no matter what level you are at.
I have found FirstPoint USA to be the most helpful of all recruiting services when it comes to making sure that all their players have all their paperwork in on time.
I'm having a great time over here. The sun is splitting the stones every day, it's great! I've been playing in every game so far so I'm doing really well. Thanks for everything.
FirstPoint USA's Andrew Kean was supported and funed by the Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust, and has acclaimed numerous achievements; Scotsman of the Year awards finalist, Shell LiveWIRE Nationalist Finalist, BT Scotland Young Entrepreneur, Royal Bank of Scotland/PSYBY Business Award for Young Entrepeneurs.
My four years at William & Mary University were some of the happiest of my life and the opportunity to play NCAA College Golf is something I would highly recommend.
With your assistance he was offered a placement at Martin Methodist in Tennessee some two years ago. Adam is going well, he has not lost his passion for football, he has passed his coaching in Alabama during time out from Martin Methodist where he is studying for a teaching degree. Without your assistance he may not have been in this position.
My wife and I visited Greg in Ohio in September and we are delighted with the school and the people he is mixing with. Football wise, he is doing really well, we watched four games while we were there. Thank you for the assistance provided by FirstPoint USA in helping Greg and do not hesitate to use the Carroll family as a referral for anyone hoping to senf their sons to America.
My name is Robert Wilson from Paisley (Scotland) and I came through FirstPoint USA over 4 years ago. I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for the amazing opportunity that your company provided for me and how it has impacted my life.
Everything is awesome here; classes are getting a bit tougher. I qualified in top space for the first tournament. We are flying out to Tennessee on Saturday, can't wait!! Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it.
Thanks for all your help in getting me out to the US, it is very much appreciated. Things are going ok, it's roasting out here! Thanks again.
Just thought I would give you an email to let you know that's me settled now in Florida. We had our first day of pre-season today. It's roasting all day but I'll get used to it, eventually! I just want to thank you and the rest of the guys for your help in getting me here, I will always appreciate it. I will keep you updated on how I get on. Thanks for your help.
This is just to thank you all at Firstpoint USA for all the help ou have given me in order to get recruited at Charleston. I fly out on the 19th August and I can't wait!
I was just writing to let you know that I'm leaving tomorrow. I'm so excited and nervous. I would like to thank you for all the hard work you put into getting me a scholarship. You believed I was good enough so I thank you for taking the time to work with me. I have enjoyed the experience through FirstPoint USA and I would recommend the company to anyone I talk to. Thank you once again.
Being on the verge of graduating, I thought I would send you an email thanking you and your staff for such a great time I have had here in the State's. It's tough to think that my 3 seasons here have passed so quickly but it has been a great adventure. I have not played as much as I would have liked but was involved in a number of big games against the best teams in the country, and the experience has been superb. On top of that, I am going to graduate early with a degree in Exercise Science. Thank you for your help through the whole process. The staff, particularly Andy, as he was my consultant, were first class and I appreciate everything you guys did to turn my hopes into a reality.
Just to let you know that I made my debut on Monday for Alabama State. I am emailing to let you know that I shot 143 (-1) for the tournament and won the individiual. Thanks again for the chance of a lifetime.
Things have been going great so far, we are 2-0 and both have been away so it couln't be better so far. The school is very small but it's perfect for me. I'm getting along really well, met some great people as well so I couldn't be happier so far. I will keep you updated, pass on my regards to Grant - hope your well and thanks for all your help.
We are really pleased with the way things worked out. He has options for university over here but with the recession his prospects were not that great, even though he excelled in his LFE qualifications and easily had enough points. We havn't done the sums but it is probably a bit cheaper paying for him in the USA than over here, and he may yet get some sponsorship, fingers crossed. College and not univeristy was absolutely the right call. He probably would have got through SAT's but a year out of the system would have knocked him back. So well done on that one.
Hi Chris & Grant. Just wanted to send a quick thank you to you guys before I go as the flights at 5pm! Thanks for putting up with the endless questions and for all the advice in the last 9 months or so. Could you please thank Andrew Keane and Andy Newman as well for me. I don't have their emails but the help they gave during the whole process was brilliant.
Been in Kansas for 3 weeks now and starting to settle in. We start games this week. just been doing conditioning work. HOW HOT IS IT?! Also guys thank you both for your hard work and giving me this opportunity! I’ll keep you guys updated on my progress.
I would like to thank first point for all the help I received this year.
I'm loving it here so far and I wouldn't have this without First Point, so I want to say a really big thanks to you and everyone that worked hard on getting me here. It was frustrating process at times but it has definitely been worth all the effort. I appreciate all the hard work on your part in helping me get here.
We’re just back from Kansas City and UMKC having spent a week there helping Joe to settle into his apartment and new life. Everything went very well (apart from the expected emotional farewells), the campus is fantastic and the coaching staff are very caring and want the boys to do well. We met up with Tom Black, who is sharing an apartment with Joe, and the two of them were off choosing their first couple of semester’s classes yesterday. I’m sure Joe will be happy in his new home for the next four years, thanks for your help in making this happen.
I just wanted to let you know that I will be flying out to Boston on Saturday 29th August. Everything is now sorted and the coach has arranged someone to pick me up when I arrive at approx 17:00. They have arranged it so I will be in the US for the Fall semester, return home for the spring and go back to US for the Summer semester and hopefully play in the PDL league. The coach has managed to pay for everything for me including lunch, hence the only thing I will pay for is the off-campus accommodation which is $200 per month. I want to take the opportunity to take you for all your help and advice. I will keep in touch.
Hope your all doing well. Appreciate your busy, but just wanted to thank you for all your work over the last year really and if you could pass it on to the other guys who have been involved. I've got my flight out tomorrow, so pretty much sorted now. Thanks again, if there is anything you want or need me to do out there for you just let me know.
I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone at FirstPoint who worked so hard to get me to the US. It’s very much appreciated, without your guys hard work, knowledge and expertise this would not have been possible! I will keep you updated with how I am getting on at St Francis.
I would like to thank you and FirstPoint USA for your support and hard work in giving me the opportunity to be able to be a student athlete in the US. I pray to God that I will be successful in my studies and also in basketball and I hope to make it big very soon. I shall keep in touch with you when I will need help of some kind. But, all in all, I thank God for the organisation in their efforts in getting me to where I am now. Many blessings.
Just to let you know that everything went to plan. I’m all set to go, in-fact my dad and I are just sitting on the plane waiting to take off now. I just want to take this time to thank you and the team at first point for making all of this happen for me. I couldn't have done it without you.
I said that I’d been meaning to write. My son Blair leaves for Billings Montana in less than three weeks. You may recall that I wrote to you (last year) a few months after Blair signed on with FirstPoint to recognise the excellent support provided to Blair from Stewart Burke. I think at that time I reflected that it would be easy to praise (or criticise!) at the end of the process when the outcome is known; but that I wanted to let you know our early impressions. Those early impressions have not changed. We have enjoyed a good experience with FirstPoint from end to end, culminating in what is a fantastic opportunity for Blair.
Firstpoint has given me more oppurtunties in soccer in america then i could of ever imagined having in England, I got GPAC All conference honorable mention in my first season starting every game scoring 2 goals and getting 1 assist from Defence. And that has given me the chance to play to play in the PDL.
Things in America are awesome and I love it here and the foothill soccer team is doing really well. Thank-you again for giving me this opportunity to develop myself in America.
Craig has made many friends and is managing to get his academic grades. He is really enjoying the soccer and staying in Texas. He has adjusted well to training and playing in temperatures over 90 degrees. We have been shown round the university and the sports facilities and they are very good. The playing surface at the soccer field is as good as Easter Road and this suits Craig's style of play.
Things are going really good just now, we are currently playing in an exhibition year as the University is brand new, but the coach used to be with FirstPoint, Adam Day, and he is a really good coach and guy. Thanks very much for your help and I will definitely keep you updated with how I'm doing.
I'm settled in and enjoying myself at University in the USA. The soccer is great, challenging and very competitive.
Things are going amazing so far, I have got myself into the starting eleven, but more importantly i am enjoying playing with the guys and coach Garcia Prats. School is going really well, I am doing well in my classes which is important too. I really couldn't imagine what life as a student-athlete could be until now - I love it! Thanks for everything.
Things over here are going good and we start the playoffs on Saturday. Its been not a bad season for us, started poor but we have done a lot better over the last couple of weeks. Settled in well school work is going ok, however math is killing me the most - its really hard! Overall really enjoying myself in the U.S
Everything is good here I’ve settled in well to the way of life, and the team are doing well, we achieved the college's highest national ranking of 13th last week and have a really good chance of making the Nationals this year in Arizona. Thank you and FirstPoint for this opportunity I hope I can make the most of it!
I'm doing pretty well. Starting to enjoy the experience more as each day passes. I adapted pretty quickly so I’m happy. well thanks again. If you ever want me to talk to any Australians that are interested in coming over let me know.
I have settled in well and fully enjoying life here in the USA. Our team are doing well hopefully we will qualify for our regional's. Thanks for all your help!
Just a quick email to let you know that Luke is doing really well at USAO. His team are unbeaten in 9 games and he’s started all of the games. His studies are going well and he’s even taking extra lessons much to our surprise! Thanks again for all your help and advice.
The USA is great, lots of football, lots of girls!! haha. School is good, football is better. Thank you all at FirstPoint USA for this opportunity, great great great!!!
Yeah I've settled in well and I love it over here. Things are still going good with the soccer n stuff as well.
Settled in well. Everyone here is very friendly. Enjoying college life. Made the starting 11 after 2 games getting about 65-70mins a game, pretty pleased with that, still getting used to their zone play but it's a learning curve.
I am getting on well over here, the team is really good and i get on well with my coach. The first few games i struggled with the pace a bit as it's nothing like home!!!!
I'm settling in fast and am doing really well with the team., I'm playing centre midfield and seem to be having an impact on the team. thanks for everything.
Thanks for everything! The coach is great, classes are really hard but hopefully keep a 2.0.
Hey Andrew I am cool and I'm getting settled, close to it thank you once again for the chance to play in the USA.
Things are going well so far. The season is going quite well and the other FirstPoint lads that are here are good guys. Thanks for everything!
I'm getting on well here, swimming and school are both going well and there are a lot of friendly people around. Still adjusting to American life and the terminology across here etc, but other than that things are just great.
I have settled in well and enjoying it out here at the moment. Football is going good as well I have started mostly all the games and the teams doing well but just not putting the ball in the back of the net at the moment!
I have settled well at Lander and loving the weather! The football is going well, I scored on my debut against Eckerd College. All the people have been really nice and Ive got some great friends. I want to thank First Point for everything they have done to make this possible.

The first few weeks were tough, however, now i have lots of friends and most of the time am having a great time.., I feel as if I've improved already which is good!
Yes things are going really good out here in South Carolina. The soccer is great, we have a really strong team and were 8-1-1 this season.
Thank-you for getting me to Grandview and for helping me getting offered a place, as I have been accepted. My parents also want to thank-you as well for your help.
I'm flying out on Thursday and still have lots to do so I don't think I will be able to see you before I go. I just wanted to thank you for all your help, I'm really looking forward to going and I'll keep you posted on how I get on.
Having a great time in Boston and kept very busy! All my classes are in the evening so before training everyday I need to get my work done so not much time to stop. Thank you for everything FirstPoint did to get me our here.

Thanks very much for your recent letter. I'm leaving on Wednesday for Oklahoma and would just like to take this opportunity to say thanks to you and the guys for all the help you have given me over the last 3 years.
Yeah it is all going well over here and I have settled very quick. It was easy with so many Scottish lads here. Plus with Kuchmiester it made it an easy move. Vladdy is a good help and enjoy being here.
Everything is great here! Really fantastic, The college is amazing!
He seems to be settling in well and enjoying himself. Although the last few matches have been losses. I am going out on Friday for a fleeting visit to see him and watch a match so looking forward to seeing the set up out there.
Just want to wish you all the best, and to say a huge thank you for all you have done with helping Paul to get to where he is. We both are so grateful for your help and support, and I wish you continued success with the company.

It is a great experience for Lachlan and both Karen and I are very happy with the way things turned out. A big Thank you to you and the others at FirstPoint who were involved.
I just wanted to let you know how I am doing here at Limestone College. I've really enjoyed my time hear so far and I haven't even stepped out onto the park. Thanks for everything, I really appreciate it.
Everything is going brilliant Andy. I'm in St. Louis the now playing in a summer league. St. Louis lions there called. Getting my fitness back up. I was down in Vegas for 2 days a few weeks ago. They flew me down for a look at the place. Its amazing.
Jeremy is now comfortably settled in Oklahoma. Support from the team and lectures have been encouraging. Early September, he was voted the sportsman of the week after scoring a hat-trick in one of their games.
It has been excellent here. Anyways Im having a great time and hope you all enjoy summer while i freeze in snow and see the sun set at 4pm. Id prefer the beach and the sun, though am still waiting for the snow.
He is very happy there and has made lots of friends. He enjoys the courses and is getting good grades. After only a couple of games 'bench warming', he got on the park and has been a first choice pick ever since. Best regards to all of you there and once again many thanks for all your assistance.
Chicago is great. We just got back from Indiana were we played two games this weekend against Brescia and Marian College. We drew and won so we had a good trip. I'm having an amazing time so far and hope it continues.

Thanks for the email. He seems to have settled in well. We went out to Oklahoma with him for a few days and didn't see much of him so that was a good sign. Thanks for your help in getting him placed on scholarship.
Golf is going great! having a much better time here at WTC too. Coach Cox is a great coach and the team we have is going to shock a few of the other colleges this semester!
This is an opportunity of a life time and I'll do anything it takes to make it there. Thanks for your help, I will keep you updated.
We would both like to thank you for all your help and advice, particularly in the run-up to this stage. Although Craig is a bit nervous, which is understandable, he knows and believes that it is a fantastic opportunity for him so thank you for helping enable this.
As you are aware Colin has now been over in Kansas City for two months . He has settled in well and enjoying life over there. All good news, we are going over to New York at the end of this month for a short holiday
All going splendidly. The place is truly awesome!!
Trav has settled in well and doing great at Ancilla, both with his soccer & academically, which is great.
Just a quick message to thank you and everyone for your help over the year. I honestly couldn't have done it on my own, I wouldn't have known where to start! Once again, thanks very much and I hope to achieve academically as well as athletically and do the FirstPoint USA name proud.
I have found first point USA very helpful and friendly with the speed of replies to any questions or concerns very fast and they have met my expectations. I have spoken to a member of staff at least once a week, their instructions were very helpful and understanding.
Yes I have found all staff at FirstPointUSA have lived up to my expectations. I have emailed and spoken on the phone on several occasions and have always had quick response and clear instructions.
I feel that the level of service has been great so far, i have always been able to get in touch with my consultant when needed to. i have also feel that the level of service has met my expectations as it is what i had imagined it to be, and i hope to progress to college which will hopefully help me with the rest of my life. I have spoken to my consultant on many occasions either when he needs something from me or I need help from him. the instructions that he has gave me are always clear and easy to understand if i do have any problems I usually email or phone him to make sure that everything is correct.
The level of service has more than met my expectations. Whenever I've needed help or had any questions about anything both Nicola and Nicole have been very helpful and got back to me very quickly. Firstly, I spoke to Nicola a lot in the beginning and she was great in helping me get sorted with the SAT preparation. All the instructions Nicola gave me were spot on and helped me greatly. More recently I have spoke to Nicole in regards to my profile being uploaded and again the information she has given me has helped a lot and made me understand the process more. I have emailed Nicole on several occasions and she has always got back to me very quickly and answered any questions I've had.
Starting back in 2006 my son, Christian, and I made an approach to Firstpointusa which led to Chris receiving a scholarship from Webber International University, Florida. Chris was at Webber for 4 years, and graduated this May 7th with a BSc in Business Management and with Sports Management as his Major. For 3½ of the 4 years Chris was at Webber he was Captain of their soccer team. Chris is now doing an Internship with Indiana Invaders Soccer Club at South Bend Indiana. Chris will be with the Invaders until around end August, by which time we hope he will have found a more permanent position with a club in the USA. With the Invaders he will be playing in the US Player Development League and will spend a fair amount of time coaching juniors from local clubs and colleges. Chris has an ambition to get a full time coaching position with a recognised league team or in a university. Thanks for all your efforts.
This is just a quick email to introduce myself and also say how proud we were that you guys thought that Adele Jackson was a candidate for the hall of fame. My name is Jonathan Maloney and I was over with Adele at the University of Montevallo for the four years she was in Alabama. She is obviously really proud to be put as a candidate for the hall of fame and she always talks about how well she was looked after by firstpointusa before she went over to America. After having such a brilliant time in America I thought I would contact you to let you know that if there is anyway we can help out by talking to prospective future students who maybe thinking over going over to America we would be more then happy to pass on our experiences. I think that I can speak for both Adele and myself that we didn't fully understand what we were letting ourselves in for when we were going over to America but it was the best four years of our life and fully surpassed our expectations. Obviously meeting each other was a bonus but from the coaching staff to the facilities everything was perfect for us and if there is anyway we can help just let us know.
So it's been a very long year but I leave for Pratt Community College, Kansas in 1 weeks time and I'm just writing to say thanks for everything that everyone at FirstPointUSA has done for me during the whole process. There's been a lot of hurdles to overcome this past year but it's all been worth it in the end. There's been a lot of hours of work put in to save up enough money to fulfill my ambition of going to play in USA and with the help of FirstpointUSA my goal has been reached. There will be a lot of work to be done when I arrive in Pratt, on the 3rd of August, but I am ready for it! Say thanks to all the guys that have helped me through every obstacle through the process and have a great summer. Thank You!
On behalf of Jack and his family we would all like to say a big thank you to you and all your staff that have worked on Jack's case from the initial interview to the final clearing. The professionalism and guidance Firstpoint have given us has been exemplary and we have no doubt in recommending Firstpoint to other prospective atheletes that may also be looking to take up the chance in progressing there academic and sporting careers in the States. One again many thanks.
I'd like to say a massive thank you to you (Nicole Montoya), Kevin McCann and the rest of the team for getting me this far! you've all been very helpful making this process run smoothly and im really excited to move onto the next stage.
Adam is very much enjoying his first year at Cloud College, Kansas. The team has done extremely well so far, won their Conference, Regionals and Area final - they fly to Arizona next Tuesday to take part in Nationals and are seeded 3rd! Fingers crossed they continue and win it! Many thanks for your help in getting him there.
I just wanted to say a massive thanks to you for everything, you've been a massive help throughout this journey! Mainly wanted to say thanks for two things : the way you supported and believed in me from the start (and kind of scared me into doing well) and also the way you were with my family, especially today ( at the Soccer Showcase event). The fact that you went out of your way to speak to them just goes to say a lot about you, and has really made me think your amazing really. Thanks for everything and I hope whatever you are doing in the next coming months and years goes well for you! By the way, my mum won't be quiet of how much she loves you and thinks your very pretty, thought I should tell you as she may have said it in our language in front of you, bless her!
I'd like to say thank you to you and all of the other staff at First Point for your help and support before and during the showcase event in London. I really enjoyed it, was a fantastic experience I loved every minute of it and felt that the matches I played there were much better than my first videoed match I played.
Thanks very much for all the help you provided throughout the process, and I am very excited about seeing my profile on the website. I look forward to hearing from the clearing department soon.
Very impressive work by you guys to put this out. (-Showcase footage) Quality video on vimeo as well. Willing to forward to some of my coaching friends.
New footage is excellent. You've come a long way from the early days... Well done!
I really enjoyed the showcase it was very well organised by you guys and it was a good experience to see and play against a high standard of players.
I am very excited and can’t wait to go over and study with Cloud and play at high standard. Steve, the head coach, seems very nice and will make my time over in America easier. Thanks for all your help you have been brilliant.
I'm glad you've all received such great and positive feedback from everyone regarding the Showcase, I do appreciate all of the effort that you and all of the other First Point staff put in to make it possible and make it an amazing experience, so thank you again!
Glad to know that my profile has been set up. You've been a great help (directed to Nicole Montoya, Client Services), thank you.
I have always been very sincere in my words to your staff and yourself. I have always appreciated that many other athletes outside of your football athletes need your close supervision and intervention. My words to you are this Andrew, "THANK YOU ever so much for supporting and backing Lee throughout the 22 months of being on the program. Thank you to all your very dedicated staff for their every effort to make this achievable. Nicole Montoya was a great help during those early stages. Craig Hughes in the latter stages. You have a wonderful team of very professional individuals, all in their own right make your company tick. What a nice journey and great memories you have given us, without you knowing any of this.
Thank you too for kindly answering my many questions and broadening my scope in the areas I needed to come up to speed. As his parents, my wife and I are supportive of Ose's decision and are pleased that he has come to a decision that is comfortable to him, which he prefers out of the many options that were available. It remains for me to thank you and the entire FirstpointUSA - especially Andrew Kean, for your continuous support this far and going forward. We are grateful and appreciative as a family
