Professional Background & Achievements:
- Graduated high school after 5th year with 5 Scottish Highers.
- Graduated the University of Rhode Island (URI) with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business.
- Achieved Dean’s List and A-10 Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honour Roll awards
- During my time at URI I studied at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic for 6 months through ‘Study Abroad’ program as part of my International Business curriculum.
- Went on to work in the US, firstly as a marketing supervisor for a local Rhode Island firm, before accepting a position as a management trainee with an international 3rd party logistics organization.
- Returned back home to Scotland to pursue my current role as Sports Consultant with FirstPointUSA.com

 

Sporting Background & Achievements
- Played full time football for Falkirk FC at U19’s and Reserve level
- Through FirstPointUSA, achieved a soccer scholarship to the University of Rhode Island in the NCAA Division I.
- 3 year soccer team captain
- Achieved all region, all conference, all championship, and URI defender of the year awards
- Was presented with the 2008 Atlantic-10 Male Sportsman Award: recognizing collegiate sporting contribution, community leadership, and integrity, across all varsity sports.
- Played for Sparta Krĉ in the Czech Football League Division 3, gaining promotion
- Upon graduation went on to play professionally in the US for one season, until suffering a career ending hip injury


Hobbies:
“Outside of work I enjoy watching football and sport in general, travelling and spending time with friends, family, and my American girlfriend, and keeping fit.”
