The FirstPoint USA ‘Hall of Fame’ honours those clients who achieved or contributed to their respective university and to intercollegiate athletics with unusual distinction. Nominees are considered each August and are announced at the end of the month.
The nomination for the 2008 Hall of Fame Class is Monday 4th August. Nominations can be made by emailing

Andrew Kean

Originally from Dunoon in Scotland, Andrew signed for the University of Cincinnati in 1997 after captaining the Scotland U18 National Team to success. In his 4 years at UC, Andrew became the first BearCat to be named as an All-American, an achievement which he earned again in 1999 and 2000. He also went on to be named; Ohio Player of the Year, Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year, College Soccer.com All-American, All-Ohio 1st Team, All-Midwest 1st Team, Conference USA 1st Team, Conference USA All-Freshman Team, University of Cincinnati Player of the Year, University of Cincinnati Rookie of the Year, Conference USA Commissioners Academic Honor Roll, University of Cincinnati TopCat Scholar-Athlete, University of Cincinnati BearCat Scholar-Athlete, Nike All-Star, Kelme Defensive Player of the Year, and Soccer America Magazine All-American. He founded FirstPoint USA in 2001 and works as the Managing Director of the company.
Daniel Willett

The golf star attended Jacksonville State University where he enjoyed great success on and off the course. The Rotherham lad was selected to represent Great Britain & Northern Ireland in the 2007 Walker Cup, and quickly climbed-up the World Amateur rankings to the No.1 spot. Before turning professional in 2008, Daniel cemented his leading Amateur status by claiming the Amateur Championships of England, Spain, and Australia. In his first three professional outings at the Andalucian, Spanish, and French Open – Daniel finished 19th, 10, and 22nd respectively.
Chris Edwards

After not being offered professional terms to play soccer in Scotland, Chris looked to pursue his academic and athletic career at Oakland University in Michigan. His 4 years brought great success to the team and to Chris personally, particularly when he was named to the All-Conference and All-Region squads. On completion of his degree, Chris was drafted to the MISL in America and signed with Detroit in his first professional contract.

The former West Ham Utd defender rose to prominence at Bryant & Stratton Junior College where he spent two years and received All-American awards in each. In 2006, Liam was named as the NSCAA National Junior College ‘Player of the Year’, and became one of the most highly sought after recruits in the country.

The first golfer to be signed by FirstPoint in 2002, Callum left for the US as a raw talent full of enthusiasm and eager to succeed. Four years later and after graduating from ‘Ole Miss’, Callum has reached the heights of World Amateur Golf with his selection to the Scotland and Men’s European Team, as well as his success in winning the Scottish Order of Merit title.

Gavin was placed on scholarship at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. The Murrayhall player had a strong college career before returning to the UK after graduation and making a huge impact at the domestic and international level of amateur golf. A string of excellent performances throughout the year clinched Dear's place in the Eisenhower Trophy side, with the Murrayshall man finishing Scotland's leading points scorer in the recent Home Internationals at Muirfield. An outstanding individual performer and team player for Scotland in 2008, Gavin was nominated to the FirstPoint 'Hall of Fame' that same year. Won the World Amateur Team Championships with Scotland in 2008 at the Adelaide GC, Australia - alongside former FirstPoint client Callum Macauley.

Recorded hat tricks vs. the University of Mary (Sept. 8) and Saint Martin's (Oct. 4) ... Led the league and points, points per game, goals and goals per game ... Was third in NCAA Division II in both goals and points per game ... Earned GNAC all-academic all-conference honors. Named NSCAA All-American. Currently the leading goal-scorer in MSU Billings History.
