Summers Leads Hartwick Against No.15 Dartmouth

Former FirstPoint USA and current Hartwick forward Dan Summers was selected to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week for all games ending on Sept. 27th. The sophomore striker earned a spot after scoring both goals on Saturday against #15 Dartmouth.
Summers drove a volley into the back of the net off of a corner kick late in the first half, and decisively converted a header off of a direct kick in the closing stages of the second half to propel Hartwick to a 2-0 win over the Big Green.
The two tallies were Summers' second and third of the season after he notched the game-winner in a 1-0 win over a strong Hartford squad on Sept. 19th.
'Wick has now won four straight to improve to 5-2-1. The Hawks host Northern Illinois (5-3-1) on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the team's second Mid-American Conference match.
