FC Dallas is looking for a motivated design intern with both creative and technical skills to join the FCD creative department for the Summer Semester. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things print, work on a Mac and understand the elements of good design. Experience in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS is required. Candidate must be a self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills. The Creative Design intern will be working closely with lead designer, developing projects from concept to completion.

The Hunt Sports Group has created a first-of-its-kind facility located on 117 acres just north of Dallas at the intersection of the Tollway and Main Street in Frisco, Texas. This master development features two major components: a 20,000 seat, state-of-the-art pro stadium immediately adjacent to a sports park with 17 championship-quality sports/soccer fields. Pizza Hut Park will be in use over 300 days per year, showcasing a wide variety of local, regional, national and international programming. Although the primary focus of this facility will be centered around soccer-related events, both at the professional and amateur level, this venue will feature a myriad of events such as major concerts and festivals. FC Dallas is currently looking for interns to help in many different departments. All internships for FC Dallas and Pizza Hut Park are unpaid internships, and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment, marketing, and sales industries.

Facility Operations Event Coordinator Internship
FC Dallas is seeking an intern to assist the Event Coordinators in all aspects of event operations, with an emphasis on game day logistics. Game day logistics include locker room set-up, table and chair set-up, and pre-game operations.
· Assist Event Coordinators with game day operations.
· Creation of information packets for visiting teams.
· Facilitate requests made by front office staff.
· Coordinate pre-game events on the field in accordance with MLS rules and regulations.
· Resolve customer service issues or work with supervisors if unable to do so alone.

Pizza Hut Park’s Private Club is looking for a college student to participate in our Event coordinator Internship. During the twelve week program, participants will be supervised by the Sales Manager for the Verizon Wireless Club and Suites for FC Dallas and Pizza Hut Park, and will learn all aspects of the coordination and administration of sports marketing, event planning, ticket sales, customer service, and game day operations. Interns will also have the opportunity to earn college credit for their time and efforts.
Job Duties

Sponsorship Internship
The Hunt Sports Group has initiated a comprehensive, year-round Internship Program. Although this is an unpaid internship, this position will give the student an excellent behind-the-scenes view on how a major professional sports organization operates, as well as valuable experience for those interested in pursuing a career in the sports industry. This internship will work with one key sponsor, North Texas Chevy Soccer Tour. The interns will assist the Manager of Corporate Sponsorships in fulfilling all obligations of this sponsorship partnership.
Duties include:
· Assist in the production and execution of a sponsor related event including set up and tear down of the event
· On-site customer relations - dealing with soccer parents, players, and coaches
· On-site sponsor fulfillment - execution of contractual elements for the event as well as assist in operations at the stadium and sports park during major events
· Communication with clients including pre and post reports of the events hosted
· Candidate must be detail oriented and possess strong communication skills
· A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Access, as well as previous database input experience, is a plus.
· For the set up and tear down of certain events, candidates must be able and willing to lift items up to 30lbs.

FC Dallas is currently looking for college students to participate in a Sales and Grassroots Marketing internship. The intern(s) will work directly with the VP of Ticket Sales and his account executives assisting with marketing, selling and researching future and existing ticket sales programs. All internships with FC Dallas are unpaid internships and must be used to receive college credit. The Complex operations/Legal &Compliance intern will work directly with the Complex Operations Manager to assist with scheduling, organization and coordinating of all events at Pizza Hut Park. · Invoicing, billing and updates for all events—providing summaries for all departments on relevant issues & events.

• Generate new group sales ideas
• Assist with in-office duties such as data entry/cleanup, logging fan feedback, fan mailings, and other communications
• Work all home game days – assisting in ticket sales operations, escorting visitors, answering fan questions, working sales booths, and player appearances

• This internship is intended to give a broad look at the function of sales in a professional sports franchise. You should expect to perform all manner of sales- and customer service-related duties, including:

o Coordinating with other departments
o Executing programs on game days
• Interns will be invited to attend inter-departmental overview meetings that are designed to introduce other aspects of the Galaxy front office.

Intern will be responsible for work across the MLS community to help monitor and launch the MLS Social Network.
Intern should have excellent communication skills and be well versed in social media and online marketing trends.
Intern will be working to populate each of our new networks with content, additionally this inter will be responsible for monitoring each of the networks to engage users and build traffic.
An ideal candidate will commit to six months and 12 hours per week, additionally this intern must be passionate about soccer, have a good understanding of MLS and a passion for helping soccer grow online.

· Intern will be responsible for helping MLS build and launch a new social network.
· Intern should have significant experience with CSS as well as photoshop and web development.

Summary/Purpose The position requires a positive thinking, goal oriented and motivated individual who is interested in pursuing a career path in the sports and entertainment field that includes many disciplines such as: brand identity (corporate and/or sports), package design, corporate identity, and advertising design. The internship position in the design and creative services department works with the Creative Director as well as Graphic Designers. Interns will work directly on projects - doing actual work.
