We are on the hunt for a Partner Relations Manager - USA

With the rapid expansion of our team, we are now hiring for the exciting new role of Partner Relations Manager - USA to work with our fast-growing portfolio of High School and Boarding School partners across the USA. The role will be based remotely, working closely with colleagues in our UK and International offices.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • The role of the Partner Relations Manager is to develop and enhance school visibility globally through WhatCollege in order to recruit international high school students on behalf of the institution.
  • The Partner Relations Manager is the ambassador/owner for the group of target high schools for the organisation in the designated regions.
  • S/he will maintain our presence at these institutions and will be in constant contact with internal teams to determine recruiting programs based on the high school’s hiring needs.
  • The Partner Relations Manager will interact with high school representatives and students to schedule events, interviews, and other outreach activities.
  • S/he will partner with campus teams and other appropriate stakeholders, (i.e., staffing, business leaders, school ambassadors, alumni teams and other internal groups) to ensure successful implementation of programs to maximize recruiting outcomes.
  • S/he will liaise with internal colleagues to oversee the achievement of recruitment objectives through digital marketing campaigns, partner agency onboarding and face-to-face engagement in various territories, amongst other activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create detailed plans with clearly defined objectives, desired outcomes, targeted territories, and calendar of events.
  • Collaborate with the school sponsors and cross-functional school managers to develop high school recruiting strategies across company’s various outreach and recruitment operations.
  • Develop operational plans and branding activities for partner schools, along with the campus leads, to attract suitable prospective students.
  • Develop relationships with placement officers, department heads, faculty/staff, alumni and student organizations.
  • Coordinate closely to ensure unified recruiting approach.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement high school relations workshops, training, recruiter toolkits, and interview guides to ensure that campus international recruiters, partners and colleagues have the necessary information and skills needed to be effective.
  • Evaluate performance against each partner school’s objectives, working with colleagues and partner agencies to identify challenges and solutions. Implement revised plans as necessary to ensure objectives are met.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of 6 - 8 years in recruitment with exposure to international institutions, with a particular focus on the high school and boarding school markets.
  • Experience in driving large scale programs end to end with an ability to identify and drive continuous improvement
  • The ability to influence and guide key internal and external stakeholders in order to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly. The position is remote.

      DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

      • Experience of minimum 10 years in recruitment with exposure to international institutions, with a particular focus on the high school and boarding school markets.
      • Experience in driving large scale programs end to end with an ability to identify and drive continuous improvement
      • The ability to influence and guide key internal and external stakeholders in order to develop and maintain strong relationships.
      • Experience of attending international high school or boarding school; schools in the USA preferable.
