Jamie Watson

Meet Jamie

Jamie joined FirstPoint USA in 2025, bringing a strong sporting background to the role. A talented young footballer from Fife, Scotland, he served his apprenticeship with Raith Rovers FC and earned a place in the first team squad. He embarked upon a sports scholarship in 2020 and secured a move to Cape Breton University in Canada, playing four years with the Capers and graduating with a BA in Community Studies and a Major in Sports Physical Activity Leadership. He earned Academic All-Canadian honours in 2021 and 2022. He continued his soccer career in Canada and played for Calgary Foothills in the Alberta Major Soccer League, where he also took on a coaching role in the club’s academy. He also played professionally in the League of Ireland with Finn Harps FC.
