Meet Ross
Ross has more than 20 years’ experience in sports marketing, having worked for Sunderland Football Club as Brand Manager and Whyte & Mackay as Sponsorship Manager, before moving to Scottish Golf in St Andrews where he held the roles of Marketing, Media & Sponsorship Manager, Head of Marketing and Development Director. During his time with Scottish Golf, he recruited a number of major sponsors into amateur golf, including Aberdeen Asset Management, adidas, Royal Bank of Scotland, Highland Spring and SSE Scottish Hydro, and managed the Scottish Golf Awards.
After leaving Scottish Golf, he did freelance marketing consultancy for a number of leading golf clubs, including Gullane and North Berwick, before joining FirstPoint USA in 2021 to lead the company’s marketing and commercial activities.
