Maddie has had a very successful hockey career, which includes playing for Kelburne hockey club for numerous seasons, being captain for the first XI team at St Columba's school and playing for Scotland.

She Participated in Scotland’s U16 Team (2013-2015), received Gold Honours for participating in Scotland’s U18 Team (2015-2017) and played against other European teams such as Italy, Austria, Ireland, England and Wales.

Since attending Cal Berkeley her career highlights are 2017 America East Honour Roll, 2x America East Commissioners Honour Roll 2018 & 2019 and 2018 NFHCA National Academic Squad.
