  1. Where are you from and what's your sporting background?
I'm from South Africa. I grow up playing sports all my life since primary school. I always want to be the best and always strive to be the best†in all sports that I played or took part in when I was in school. I played Hockey, Netball, Track and field, basketball, indoor hockey and tennis. I was in the first team for all the sports that I played.
  1. Why have you decided to attend a University†in the States?
I have decided to attend university in the states because I love the way USA varsities take their sports seriously and I believe by me coming there then I can get all the expertise that I need to take my sports to the next level and become a professional athlete.
  1. What were the key factors that impacted your decision to choose Charleston?
I choose The University of Charleston because of their facilities and they would better accommodate the course I am doing here and it would be easier to transfer.
  1. How excited are you to spend the next few years in the States?
I don't think I can explain how excited I am to spend the next few years in US. I am very excited but nervous at the same time.
  1. How did you find the scholarship process?
This scholarship process has been very exciting but nerve racking at the same time. At some point I lost some hope in me getting a scholarship because it can be a long process, but I trusted in the Lord and prayed everyday and I finally got more offers than I expected!
