We are delighted to Sean McCabe to our growing list of rugby players at FirstPoint USA. Sean, who hails from Tullamore in Ireland grew up playing a huge variety of sports including hurling and football at county level but in his late teens decided to focus on his rugby and his talent started to become apparent

In 2016, Sean was named the player of the year for his team and had a massive impact in the U18 Leinster final which his side subsequently won in some style. Sean in a recent interview with our media team stated that his favourite three sportsmen included Conor Mcgregor, Marshawn Lynch and Israel Folau of whom he cites as an inspiration and is his favourite player in the sport.

The team at FirstPoint USA will be providing all the support Sean needs to achieve his dreams in the USA !

We also have the privilege to Welcome New Athlete Max Dalgarno who has joined us with the former Ross County and Inverness Caledonian Thistle player hoping to make an impact out in the states. Max is currently studying at Invergordon Academy and has made it clear that to us that his focus when he arrives out there will be as much on his studies as it will his soccer which is the perfect mindset to have!

When we asked Max about his ambitions in the future and where he would like to be in 10 years time he made it clear that he would like a job that revolves around sport and from the experience some of the FirstPoint USA team have had out there, that's more than possible following on from his time in America.

Max has had several impressive moments throughout his career to date including scoring against the youth sides of Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers, but he mentioned what happened in his time at Inverness as his favourite...

" My favourite sporting memory is winning the Costa Daurada cup with Inverness Caley in a Spain. I remember playing in the final and going 2-0 up in the first 10 minutes. We were cruising and were playing great football. Then suddenly out of the blue our opposition scored 2 goals in the space of 2 minutes to bring the game back to 2-2. It was them nearing the final couple of minutes in the game. I remember picking the ball up on the left side of the pitch and dribbling past 4 men and playing an inch perfect through ball to my teammate who slotted the ball into the back of the net. We won the game 3-2. This was the best moment in my football career by far "
