FirstPoint USA is proud to become Partick Thistle Football Club’s first ever sleeve sponsor.
The FirstPoint USA logo will appear on the left sleeve of every Thistle home and away top throughout the upcoming campaign, as the Glasgow club strive for an immediate return to the Scottish Championship.
FirstPoint USA’s chief executive is former footballer Andrew Kean, whose connection to Thistle goes back more than 20 years when he wore the red and yellow during a number of first team friendlies shortly before setting up FirstPoint in 2001.
Andrew Kean, FirstPoint USA CEO, said: “We’re always looking for new ways to partner up with sporting associations, so to team up with one of Scotland’s most iconic football clubs was an opportunity we couldn’t turn down. On a personal level, it’s a club I already knew well but when I met with them recently I was really impressed with the passion and drive so we jumped at the opportunity to come on board.
“It’s a brilliant platform for us to tell the FirstPoint story to a wider football audience – and hopefully our backing can play a small part in helping Ian McCall and the team have a successful season ahead. We’re proud to be Partick Thistle’s first ever sleeve sponsor and can’t wait to get along to a game and see the team in action as soon as we are safely able to.”
FirstPoint’s HQ, near Glasgow Airport, is just a 15-minute drive from Firhill where Thistle will commence a new season in early October, firstly with Betfred Cup matches and then the 27-match league campaign.
