FirstPoint USA is an international scouting service, providing scholarship opportunities to talented athletes and recruitment services to hundreds of NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA member institutions seeking to identify the very best in overseas sporting talent.

The company was founded in 2001 by former University of Cincinnati All-American and Hall of Fame inductee, Andrew Kean, and evaluates over 100,000 prospective student-athletes, competing in 30 different sports, across 187 countries each year.

About The Role


In line with our plans to increase our international reach, we are looking for a Global Franchise Director to join the business and take us to limits that we would never have before thought possible. This role will be instrumental in introducing FirstPoint USA to whole new markets, as well as improving our offering to those locations we already have presence. We want to create opportunities for talented sportsmen and women, securing them placement at universities aligned to their academic, athletic, and financial needs. Our team is at the forefront of that mission, working with fantastic athletes & providing excellent customer service to our athletes, their parents, US college coaches, and our institutional partners.  And now, we’re looking for a talented and passionate Franchise Director to join our team.

We are in the early stages of our franchise operation, with some successful relationships already spread across the globe and many more new partnerships already on track. We have ambitions to open 10 new franchise sites this year with 2023 looking like the year where there’s exponential growth for us globally.


  • Identifying potential new franchisees and assess their suitability against FirstPoint USA Franchisee criteria.
  • Conducting market research and implement new ideas to continue to innovate within the franchise space.
  • Work with franchise partners to ensure the delivery of new projects and sites across the globe working towards the delivery of our annual targets.
  • Work towards our departmental annual budgets within expected timelines.
  • Collaborate across multiple areas of the business and with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and engage with team with a clearly defined and communicated project plan to stakeholders, with regular project team and Exec progress reviews to successfully launch on time.
  • Ensure franchisees have the right training, support & tools to deliver key measures through our brand initiatives
  • Supports the smooth implementation of new Brand Policies/Processes into the Franchise network, ensuring all franchisees adhere to brand requirements and are suitable to maximise sales in any given location.

About You

  • Experience leading the strategic growth of a global or large regional franchise business.
  • Ability to lead, influence and develop organisational capability as well as achieve results with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Natural capacity to quickly establish and build effective relationships across the organisation.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities and ability to lead growth and change initiatives.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, customer focused team player, holds her or himself accountable for performance, and takes absolute ownership.
  • High energy and ability to react to situations quickly and decisively, possessing self-confidence to be assertive when taking a position, and not afraid to make decisions.
