If you’re a talented young golfer with ambitions to follow the college golf pathway in the States, join FirstPoint athlete ambassador Sofia McGhie as she discusses her experience of playing and studying at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Sofia, a Scotland Girls international and a member at this year’s Open Championship host venue Royal Birkdale, has just started her sophomore year having recently completed a successful sophomore season. We’ll be discussing all things collegiate golf, including the facilities, playing collegiate tournaments, the balance between academics and golf, a typical day in the life at Nova Southeastern, and what it takes to succeed as a college golfer and playing for your country.
