Adele Jackson graduated from Montevallo University
where she was a four-year starter for the Falcons. She has played in 75 career matches which is the most played by any Montevallo women’s soccer player in history. Despite being one of the best defenders in the country, Jackson did some scoring in her career as well. She had 13 career goals and 10 career assists including four game-winning goals. One of her game-winning goals came late in her senior year as she blasted a 50-yard free kick over the defense with just one second left on the clock to give Montevallo a 1-0 win over North Alabama. She was named First Team All-Gulf South Conference all four years. She was named First Team All-Region her junior and senior years by Daktronics while earning two Second Team All-Region awards and one Third Team award by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Her junior season she was named Honorable Mention Daktronics All-America while as a senior she was named Second Team All-America. She was recently named to the Gulf South Conference First Team All-Time team.
Adele met her fiancé at Montevallo and he was an all American on the men’s team!! He set every record in the books here and they are both future hall of fame candidates. Their senior year together they were both voted male and female athletes of the year!
