October 2011 Our FirstPoint USA University of the Month for October 2011 is Saint Leo University in Florida. St Leo University is situated 30 minutes North of Tampa, in West Central Florida. Founded in 1975, St Leo is also the first Catholic Institution of Higher Learning in Florida, has over 41 academic programs on offer for more than 15000 students.
