Congratulations to former FirstPoint USA client, Michael Hand, who has beaten thousands to reach the final 33 named as the NSCAA College Scholar All-America Team! From the Thomas Terriers website: The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has released selections for the 2012 NSCAA College Scholar All-America Team and Thomas' Michael Hand(Essex, England) has been chosen. Hand is one of 33 selected out of thousands of student-athletes eligible for this honor. Hand, who excels on and off the field, has a 3.63 GPA while majoring in Sports Management at Thomas. On the field, scored a team leading 12 goals and 28 points, while only playing in 13 games due to an injury. Was named to the NSCAA All-New England team along with teammate Mikkail Crockwell (St. David's, Bermuda), and was also tabbed to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) First Team. For Thomas College, Hand is the first to ever be named to the NSCAA Scholar All-American squad. Michael will be invited to attend the annual NSCAA All-America Luncheon on Saturday, January 19 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Event honors All-America players at the youth, high school, and college levels and is an event to celebrate the best amateur soccer players in the United States in 2012.
