2 min read

What are the greatest moments to take place during the Six Nations? There have been some last-minute tries, pivotal kicks and colossal results to sift through, but in this blog we have made our selections for some of our favourite Six Nations moments ever.

Are there any that we have missed? Let us know via our social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Brian O'Driscoll - Hat Trick - 2000.

The iconic centre announced himself to the world in 2000, when he scored 3 fantastic tries against the French. This inspired the men in green to a 27-25 victory.

Gavin Henson - Penalty vs England - 2005.

In a complete performance, with time dwindling down, Gavin Henson smacked over a long-range penalty to give Wakes a huge victory over England in 2005. The Welsh would go on to win the Grand Slam.

Stuart Hogg - With the help of Hogg - 2013.

Italy were hoping to begin an RBS 6 Nations campaign with two consecutive wins for the first time ever when they travelled to Murrayfield to face Scotland in Round Two in February 2013. The Scots were the only team they had beaten on their travels in the Championship, but it had been six years...

The stand-out moment occurred when as Italy tried to hit back, when Orquera's pass was picked off by Stuart Hogg, who set off, cutting through the Italian defence before they had a chance to react.

Johnny Sexton - Last Second Drop Goal - 2018.

Ireland were behind and going through the phases in Paris. The connections were beginning to run out of phrases when Johnny Sexton decided enough was enough. He stepped up - more than 40 meters out at the end of an exhausting game - and proceeded to send the perfect strike through the posts.

Finn Russell - Draws Both Sides - 2019.

Just last year, England and Scotland fought out an astonishing draw in one of the most remarkable matches in their 148-year rivalry. With Man of The Match Finn Russell, scoring a sensational try to draw both sides.

We can't wait to see what this years Six Nations bring us... Round One kicks off this Saturday with Wales Vs Italy at 14:15pm followed by Ireland Vs Scotland at 16:45pm!
