The Chronicle of Higher Education is currently tracking 560 US colleges and their plans regarding reopening this Fall. According to their tracker, 64% of colleges plan to open with an in-person semester.
Many colleges are making difficult decisions about falls classes, with the protection of students and staff at the forefront. With the pandemic still a global crisis many colleges are opting for online classes or a hybrid model. Some colleges have yet to decide on a plan for fall but have set deadlines to reach a final decision.
