Former Ladies European Tour professional Heather MacRae is helping to the next generation of talented young golfers find success in the States.

Having won the Scottish Girls Championship, Heather moved to McLennan Junior College in Texas and won the individual NJCAA National Championship in 2003, and helped the Highlanders win the Team Championship in her freshman year. That success earned her a transfer to San Diego State University, where she had three top-10 finishes and was the Aztecs top player in her senior year ahead of winning the British Ladies title at Nairn.

Heather turned professional after graduating in 2007 and did her PGA training at Gullane and Gleneagles. She earned her Tour card for the first time in 2013, with her best finish being a sixth place at the Ladies Scottish Open in her maiden season. Her two LET Access Tour wins came in Sweden and Belgium, and she is a record four-time winner of the Women’s PGA Championship, while in 2022, she become the first female winner of a Tartan Tour Order of Merit event.
