Cayuga Community College was founded under the sponsorship of the Auburn City School District in 1953 as Auburn Community College; the College officially changed its name to Cayuga County Community College in 1975 when Cayuga County assumed sponsorship The Auburn campus is in Cayuga County, in the heart of New York State's Finger Lakes region. The Fulton campus offers residents of Oswego County and surrounding areas a wide array of courses, including several complete degree programs, within easy commuting distance. Cayuga has the option of studying the following degree programs –

  Basketball Arena – Home to the Spartan men’s and women’s basketball programs…Spartan Hall’s Basketball Arena seats 1,000 spectators. A new Robbins wood floor surface was installed in 2007 along with portable goal systems. The 2010-11 season brought a new Fairplay scoreboard system with stat panels, shot clocks and new arena sound system. Spartan Hall has a total of 4 full-length basketball courts.   Volleyball Arena- Home to the Spartan women’s volleyball program…Spartan Hall’s Volleyball Arena also can seat up to 1,00 spectators. A SportCourt volleyball floor was installed in the summer of 2010 for the newly added women’s volleyball program. The court is equipped with a scoreboard system, sound system and practice hitting area.    Fitness Center- All student-athletes have access to the college’s 3,000 square foot Fitness Center which hosts a variety of Nautilus, free-weights and cardiovascular machines . The Fitness Center is equipped with a computer sign-in system, sound system and flat screen televisions.   Athletic Media Room- Located in Lower Spartan Hall…the Athletic Media Room provides a dedicated classroom space for academic study halls and team meetings. The room has seating for over 40 and has a computer-aided video setup and large screen for team media and filming needs.   Victory Sports Medicine training room- Located in Lower Spartan Hall…the athletic training needs for the Spartans are managed by the Victory Sports Medicine Group.  Clinical hours, game coverage and a host of ATC services are provided for Spartan athletics. The college conducts free sports physicals by VSM at times prior to the start of each athletic season.

Falcon Lanes- Home to the Spartan men’s and women’s bowling teams…Falcons Lanes is a 16 lane center that was completely renovated in 2009 with synthetic lanes, flat computer scoring system, sound system and lighting systems. Members of both bowling teams have adequate access to the lanes at specific times for practice. The lanes hosts the annual Spartan Invitational during the bowling season.     Highland Park Golf Club- Conveniently located adjacent to the college campus, Highland Park Golf Club is the home course for the Spartan men’s and women’s golf programs. Highland Park Golf Club is known to be one of the most challenging and best-conditioned golf courses in Central New York with its Par 71, 18-hole parkland course stretching over 6,400 yards.     Cayuga are taking on a number of our clients this year and we wish them good luck for their season!
